- My name is Tawny Walker and I am a second grade teacher at Cornerstone Charter Academy in Belle Isle, Florida (Orlando). I am a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Advertising and a concentration in Business Administration. In December 2011,I received a Master's degree in Elementary Education from The University of Central Florida. In addition to completing my Master's degree, I hold an endorsement in reading instruction and ESOL education. I love to learn and help others, so teaching has been a life-long passion of mine. It's incredible to be finally pursuing my dream. I am so grateful to be in the classroom helping children every day. They inspire me in every way!
